Getting startedWhat do I need to play?+
Daemonic Sword is a custom map for Warcraft III. Install Warcraft III, download version R4.22 from the download page, and select it in Custom Games. The map supports Classic and Reforged.
Getting startedCan I play alone or with friends?+
Both. You can begin a solo journey or gather a party for multiplayer.
QuestsWhere does the main story begin?+
Speak with Daeganus, the King's Mage, near the castle in northern Fira.
QuestsHow do I find my current objective?+
In the current development map, press 0 to open the Quest Log. Choose your quest line, then use Track Quest or Show on Map.
ProgressionDoes my progress save?+
The current save system supports hero, bank, shared stash, portrait-gallery, and learned-song records, with manual saves and rotating autosaves. Use the in-game save/load interface.
ProgressionWhat professions can I learn?+
Speechcraft, Thievery, Hunting, Forging, and Fishing. Open your Journal with J to review your progress.
StorageHow do I unlock bank storage?+
Visit the bank beside the Mages Guild near Ramoria and speak to the Treasurer to unlock Bank level 1. The Stash is separate shared storage.
The worldCan I own a house?+
Visit a city advisor and purchase a land deed to begin the housing progression.
The worldHow do companions work?+
Purchase companions at the Hunters Hall. They are cosmetic: they change the appearance of your backpack and summons.
The worldHow do I get a horse?+
Use the Lasso from Hunting to capture a horse. Captured horses go to the Stables, where you choose which to use. Your Journal records horse details.
The worldCan I raise a dragon?+
Find a Dragon's Egg and hatch it at a fountain. The recorded progression includes Whelp, Drake, and Dragon. Racing becomes available at the Drake stage.
MusicHow do I learn songs inside the game?+
Learn melodies from musicians. Learned songs appear on the Journal's Songs page, with their notes revealed once learned. These playable melodies are separate from the website soundtrack player.
MusicHow do I turn website music off?+
Use Pause or Sound off on the soundtrack bar. The volume and mute controls are always available. Music starts only after you choose to play it; your browser may ask for another click when you return.

Join the Daemonic Sword Discord through the Community links on this site, or consult the player-created guide. The player codex reflects the development map, so released-map values can differ.
